3EXTRA TASK
Read the posts. Post 1 has an example reply — look at it first. Then write your own replies to Post 2 and Post 3. Write three or four sentences for each. Use at least three verbs from the box in every reply, and underline them. Post 1 — Max, 19: I've booked a hostel with 12 beds in one room. It's my first time, and now I'm a bit scared. What should I do? Example reply: Don't worry! I'd recommend taking earplugs and a small lock for your bag. Most people in hostels are friendly, so you could ask to join them for dinner on the first evening. You'll probably enjoy meeting people from everywhere — my first hostel is still my favourite holiday.

- 3.
Post 3 — Tom, 27: My friend and I are travelling together next month. He wants to see six cities in ten days. I want to sit by the sea. Help!
4EXTRA TASK
Read this one-star review. Rewrite it as a five-star review of the same place. Give it a new title. Use at least six verbs from the box — be careful with the form. Then swap with a partner and count each other's verbs.

Hotel Marisol — Never again ★ We booked this hotel for our anniversary. Big mistake. Nobody helped us with our bags and the receptionist told us to carry them up four floors ourselves. It was midnight and we had two suitcases. The room was next to the main road, so the noise kept us awake all night. At breakfast, our table was dirty and nobody came to serve us for twenty minutes. The photos online show a swimming pool — it was closed all week and nobody told us. We booked five nights and left after two. Choose somewhere else.
