Practicing object sentences

Práctica oral de objetos directos e indirectos con give, show, send, buy y make. Se trabajó el orden persona + cosa y cosa + to/for + persona en pedidos, ofrecimientos y situaciones cotidianas.

Resumen

In this lesson you practised sentences with indirect and direct objects (giving, showing, making) using short examples. The tutor corrected word order and helped you use correct verbs with people and things while you built speaking fluency.

Giving and showing objects

  • Practiced sentences like 'I bought my aunt a scarf' and 'Show me the photo'
  • Corrected word order: 'Send it to us' rather than 'Send us it'

Making and giving actions

  • Practised 'I made a sandwich for my brother' and 'We made them a pizza'
  • Focused on using correct recipient phrases: 'for him' or 'to him'

Requests and offers in context

  • Practised polite requests: 'Please pass me the menu' and 'Can you lend your pen?'
  • Noted small meaning changes with word order and object placement

Para recordar

Ditransitive verb patterns

Many verbs take an indirect person object plus a direct thing object, either as person + thing or thing + to/for + person. Use to for transfer and for for benefit. Ejemplos

  • I bought my aunt a scarf.
  • I made a sandwich for my brother.
Apuntes de la clase en español

Correcciones, pronunciación y práctica preparadas a partir de esta clase. No las escribió tu profesora.

Patrones y correcciones

  • «Show me the photo» y «Please pass me the menu»: persona antes de la cosa.
  • «Send it to us»: con el pronombre it, colocar el destinatario después de to.
  • «I made a sandwich for my brother»: for introduce al beneficiario. La alternancia depende del verbo; no es una regla universal.
  • «Please explain the question to me»: explain no admite el patrón explain me the question.
  • «The hotel offers free breakfast»: sujeto + verbo + objeto; offers con sujeto singular. El chat conserva la versión en pasado «the hotel offered free breakfast to us».
  • «She sent me an invitation»: an antes de invitation.

Tarea y materiales

Alianna envió las tareas el 13 de octubre a las 17:39 y 17:42 (Europe/Vienna). Los cuatro PDFs originales están archivados con sus sumas SHA-256 y texto extraído; se revisaron visualmente sus 50 páginas.
